Project Recovery – What to do when it All Goes Wrong!
At some point in our careers, many of us have received one of these dreaded telephone calls:

"The website hosting company has closed it’s doors, leaving our website, and online store out of commission and lost in cyberspace".

"The consultant that was developing our new financial system just admitted that the project is hopelessly behind schedule, and may never be completed.  Needless to say, the new system will not be ready to help with this year’s taxes".

Businesses that are not prepared for these situations face a serious problem.  This program will present strategies that will help you prepare for and deal with such situations as to minimize any impact on your business.

Objectives

  • Identify the arrangements to make with vendors before a contract is signed
  • Understand how to monitor a project in order to identify potential warning signs
  • Identify the steps that need to be taken immediately if a vendor suddenly ceases operations, is acquired, or alters its’ business model.
  • Understand how to maintain your own backup files (without technical expertise)
  • Understand how to develop an action plan to effectively address situations of this nature before they happen
